  F7 ECU Relocation
This page was last updated on: August 4, 2010
Approx. Time:  30 Mins

*Tools and Hardware Needed:
1 - 1/4" Drill Bit
2 - 1/4" x 1 1/2" Round-Headed Bolts
2 - 1/4" Burrs
1 - 7/16" Wrench
2 - 1/2" Long Spacers (1/4" I.D. Pipe)
1 - Bottle Medium Grade Lock-Tite

Step 1:
Drill 2 - 1/4" holes through front aluminum belly.  Holes should be located 2" from front edge of aluminum, and about 1.56" in from both sides.

Step 2:
Cut 1/4" I.D. pipe into 2 - 1/2" long pieces (and extra burr or washers will also work fine).  Thes spacers raise the ECU up so that the wiring harness is easily connected to the ECU.

Step 3:
Insert bolts up through holes from bottom of sled.

Step 4:
Place spacers on bolts.

Step 5:
Place ECU on top of spacers.

Step 6:
Tighten burrs down on top of ECU.  Place small amount of Lock-Tite on threads to prevent burrs from comming loose.

Step 7:
Use plastic electrical wire protector to put on wiring harness.  This protect the wires from rubbing on the aluminum edge where the harness goes to the ECU.

Step 8:
Route wiring harness through opening and plug in.

Step 9:
Use plastic tie to mount air sensor from air box to wire harness.

Step 10:
Double check all connections to make sure everything is plugged in.
