If you are interested in keeping your motor clean from dirt and debris that the airbox misses, then K & N Filters are a must.  Not only will they keep your motor clean, but they will also improve performance.  The stock airbox is more restrictive then filters will ever be.  Here's how we installed K & N's on our 2003 F7:

*Tools and Hardware Needed: (Part Number: SN2590)
1 - Plain Screw Driver
1 - Phillips Screwdriver

Step 1:
Remove ECU Unit.  (Unplug from wire harness, and remove screws.  Set ECU on counter until later.)

Step 2:
Unplug Airbox Sensor From Wire Harness.

Step 3:
Remove Airbox.

Step 4:
Used Plain Screwdriver, and Gently Remove Airbox Sensor From Airbox.  (Set on counter until later.)

Step 5:
Remove Air-Flow Director (Pull out towards front of sled.)

Step 6:
Lay Both Filters In Front Of Throttle Bodies, Pushing End Through Opening As Far As Possible.

Step 7:
Place PTO Side Filter On First, Turning Until Rubber Fits Good Over Throttle Body.  Tighten Hose-Clamp.

Step 8:
Place MAG Side Filter On, Turning Until Rubber Fits Good Over Throttle Body.  Tighten Hose Clamp.

Step 9:
Check To Make Sure Throttle Bodies Are Secure In Intake Manifolds.

Step 10:
Relocate ECU and Airbox Sensor (Click HERE to be transfered to the ECU Relocation page).
